Cricket Victoria COVID Sept 25 update
CV have presented to more than 1000 people on Webinars this week and a lot of BHRDCA clubs and people attended.
The situation continues to evolve and change daily and Sunday will see further announcements. That will lead to more discussions next week where CV will ensure we are best placed to commence the season.
There are a number of guidelines around return to play where the initial Government advice did not make sense to cricket people. No spectators and no equipment sharing (especially for juniors) are good examples. CV are addressing these issues and seeking clarification.
Regional cricket is due to commence competition in mid October so we will have real data to help us start our season.
The next few weeks will provide greater clarity towards our goal of starting the season on November 14.
We ask all to hang in there, we are getting close to training and playing.
Stay safe. BHRDCA CoM
Safeguarding Children/Young People
All Clubs,
A new link has been established on the BHRDCA Website, under Club & Playing Resources > Policies > Safeguarding Children/Young People to provide an overview of the BHRDCA’s adoption of the new CA policy for safeguarding Children and Young people. It includes the PowerPoint presentation conducted by Clint Kennon (CV Cricket Mgr.) as a component of the new Policy and the extract of confirmation from the most recent BHRDCA CoM Minutes indicating that the policy was formally adopted by the CoM.
All Clubs are required to commence the processes associated with compliance of the policy immediately.
Further inquiries on the implementation of the policy at your Club should be directed to Clint Kennon (CV Cricket Mgr.) on 0473 040 593.
