The BHRDCA is delighted to announce we have secured sponsorship with Rebel for season 2014/15.
The sponsorship will be for branding on cricket balls used across junior, senior and veteran competitions including T20 games. In return, rebel will provide loyalty discounts and exclusive offers to BHRDCA clubs.
There are 4 Rebel stores in partnership with us, Glen Waverley, Doncaster, Ringwood and Forest Hill. Each of those stores will contact clubs most geographically aligned to the store. Clubs will be offered the chance to sign up to loyalty programs which provide direct benefits to the individual clubs.
We look forward to a strong partnership that will benefit both BHRDCA clubs and Rebel.
Rebel inspires BHRDCA cricketers to achieve their personal best.

Attached is a draft of the junior competition rules, that have been extensively revised. Please ensure they have been read and discussed by relevant persons at your club prior to the meeting on 8/09/2014.
Following any further discussion at the junior delegates meeting, a motion will be proposed to pass all revisions, either as a whole, or on a rule by rule basis.
It is also requested that clubs advise of any up-dates to their junior team nominations, prior to the meeting.
We would also like to hear from anyone interested in assisting the Junior Executive with matters such as team grading, MyCricket compliance, or as Junior representative team managers.
I look forward to welcoming everyone to the new season on 8/09/2014.

Also at the recent delegates meeting, it was approved to trial 12 players per team where required in the 65, to become 64, over grades. This will also be extended to the lowest 80 over grade for the coming season. This is a feature of neighbouring competitions and is helpful to clubs trying to fill their lower grade sides. So players only available one day are able to play and be interchanged the following week. Team sheets still need to be exchanged naming the 12 players competing at the start of day one. This experiment will be monitored during the season to determine if a more permanent arrangement comes into play.
At the delegates meeting on Tuesday 11 August, the delegates unanimously accepted the nominations from Wyclif CC and Manningham CC to join the BHRDCA for season 2014/15.
Both clubs come from the top synthetic grade of the ECA and will bring 4 senior sides each. Probably 4 each of juniors as well and a veterans side. It is great to see our association as a destination of choice and being sought out by clubs. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with both clubs and warmly welcome them to our growing association.
