It is with great delight that I can announce, that Vermont’s Craig Gislingham has been added as a late replacement to the Australian Over 50’s team for the upcoming Over 50’s World Cup in Sydney joining fellow Victorians Darren Hill and Bill Blair.

Craig represented Victoria with distinction in the last two Australian Over 50 Championships in Brisbane and in Orange, NSW where he was a member of the team that took the Australian Over 50’s A Grade title.

Known for his canny medium pace swing bowling and powerful middle order batting, Craig will be a huge asset over the 3 week tournament.

Congratulations Craig, a well deserved honour.

Australia’s World Cup journey starts with a match against Sri Lanka on Wednesday 21 November.

Further match’s are

Thursday 22nd Nov v New Zealand

Sunday 25th November v England

Monday 26th November v South Africa

Wednesday 28th November v Pakistan

Thursday 29th November v Wales

Sunday 2nd December v Canada

The semi-finals will be on Monday 3rd December and the Grand Final Tuesday 4th December

The World Cup will be followed with 2 “Silver Ashes” matches against England on the 6th and 7th December.
